Year 9-Introduction To A Career In Medicine
Objectives: Inspire students to explore and gain insight into a career in medicine.
Session Activities:
- Talk by a practicing doctor providing an insight into the real life of a medic.
- Guidance on work experience, entry requirements for medicine.
- Hands-on activities such as suturing, cannulation or dissection.
- Open session with plenty of time for questions.

Year 10- Orientation To Medical Pathway
Objectives: Informing students about how to approach medical pathway before A – Levels.
Session Activities:
- Talk by a Veterinary student, Dentist or a Medical student.
- Orientation session on extracurricular activities and expected GCSE grades.
- Hands-on activities linked to human or animal anatomy.
- Open session with plenty of time for questions.

Year 11- Getting Ready To Be A Medic
Objectives: Help students make informed decisions about a career in medicine.
Session Activities:
- Talk by a practicing doctor providing an insight into the real life of a medic.
- Guidance on work experience, entry requirements for medicine.
- Hands-on activities such as suturing, cannulation or dissection.
- Open session with plenty of time for questions.

Year 12- Succeed In Medical Entrance Application - The Final Step!
Objectives: Orientation session about entry requirements to medical schools.
Session Activities:
- Talk by a medical student on how they cracked the medical application process.
- Guidance on UCAT/BMAT entrance examinations with exemplar questions.
- Interactive session on writing a personal statement and mock interview demonstration.
- Open session with plenty of time for questions.
