What Students and Parents Say

Trusted for medical and dental school interview preparation since 2021.

“The most valuable asset this experience provided was structure and informed feedback. My assessor was excellent in their professional insights, they could astutely critique my weaknesses and suggest targeted avenues to remedy them. Interviews for medicine and dentistry can be daunting, and the volume of specific information necessary is overwhelming.”

          FAQs

It depends what you get. Generic advice you can read for free is not worth paying for. What is worth paying for is time with someone who scores your answers against the criteria interviewers use, tells you exactly where you lose marks, and makes you do it again. That is what our masterclass mocks and one-to-one sessions are for.

Choose the masterclass if you want both formats taught in one weekend, with mock interviews in a small group, and one of the dates suits you. Choose one-to-one if your interview is close, you only need one format, or you want every minute spent on your own weak spots. Not sure? Book a free consultation and we will help you pick.

Work in this order: learn the format your universities actually use (MMI stations or a panel), learn a structure for answering each question type, then practise under timed conditions with someone who marks you against an examiner-style scheme and tells you what to change. Reading model answers alone does not move your score, being scored and corrected does.

The questions during a medicine panel interview can vary. But mostly focus on the candidate’s motivation for a career in medicine or academic achievements, and also knowledge of current issues in healthcare.

There are three main types of dental school interviews: MMI (Multiple Mini Interviews), traditional interviews, and panel interviews. An MMI interview consists of a series of timed stations.

Included Non-verbal cues, such as body language and eye contact, are determined during an interview. Candidates must maintain good posture, avoid fidgeting, and make eye contact with the panel members to show confidence and professionalism.

Six to eight weeks is ideal, but most interview invitations arrive two to four weeks before the date, that is normal, and it is still enough time. Six hours sits comfortably over three weeks, or compresses into ten days if your date is closer. Ten or twelve hours can run over as long as six weeks. Tell us your interview date and we will build the sessions around it.

Common mistakes include lack of preparation, unprofessional appearance, dishonest or overly rehearsed answers, negative comments, poor body language, and failing to ask insightful questions or follow up afterward. You should avoid these mistakes.

To structure your answers effectively, use the STARR technique (Situation, Task, Action, Result, Reflection) to tell compelling stories about your experience, particularly for behavioral interview questions.

Yes. Both days are recorded, so you can rewatch the teaching and model answers before your interview.
